Defence Recruitment

Recruitment built on lawful process.

Defence recruitment decides who serves, how they are treated and whether institutions can be trusted. DefenceExporter's recruitment framework is designed around government authority, voluntary participation, fair recruitment and rigorous screening — at every stage.

04 — Candidate questions

For prospective candidates.

Can I apply through DefenceExporter today?

Not at present. No recruitment programme is currently open. Any future programme would be announced only once it has been formally established with government authorisation, and would use clearly identified official channels.

Will I ever be asked to pay a fee?

No. DefenceExporter's programme principles state that candidates should not be charged recruitment fees. If anyone asks you to pay to be recruited in DefenceExporter's name, do not pay, and report it via the Contact page.

Who decides whether I am appointed?

The receiving government, under its own law. DefenceExporter does not appoint, enlist, deploy or command anyone.

What happens to my personal data?

Candidate data is sensitive. The platform concept is built on data minimisation, encryption, role-based access and audit logging, and personal data is never exposed publicly. See the security and data principles.

Recruitment is only the first stage.
